Pathfinders is specifically designed as the perfect introduction to overnight camp! For three days and two nights, campers will experience the joy of camp life in a safe, supportive environment.
Our loving staff make every camper feel right at home from the moment they arrive. We understand this might be your child’s first time away from home, and we’re here to make it amazing!

Michelle Ludge
Michelle is the Children’s and Family Ministry Director at First Covenant Church in Grand Rapids, MI. She has attended the church since 1990 and has worked in this position since 2005. In 2021, Michelle received her ministry license and is now one of FirstCov’s pastors! She is an enthusiastic and energetic leader and loves to have fun and be around people. She is passionate about Children’s & Family Ministries and building relationships with students and their families.
Michelle and her husband Eric grew up in West Michigan and were high school sweethearts. They love to spend time with their family and are especially enjoying time with their three granddaughters. She loves spending time with family and the kids at FirstCov keeps her busy, but when time allows she loves to head here to Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp, read a book or go for a hike! Her family has been attending Family Camp at PLCBC for many decades!
