Join us for a weekend retreat with your Trailblazer aged friends! This retreat is a great opportunity to get to experience camp. If you’ve been to summer camp, come experience a different season! If you’ve never been to camp, you get to experience it with your friends and leaders from your church! If you’re a leader, it’s an opportunity to have an event where you don’t have to do all the planning – just get back and forth to camp, and while you’re here you can invest in your students without having to worry about facilitating what’s next!

We’re excited to have Pastor Laura Jackson (Faith Covenant Church, Farmington Hills) join us to be our speaker for this weekend. Pastor Laura is great at not only teaching in chapel times, but also connecting with students and leaders outside of our time in chapel. Besides chapel, you’ll get to participate in some fun group games, as well as have some time to experience some of the activities unique to camp or just create your own fun by grabbing some friends to play. (And you’ll also have an opportunity to check out the progress on the new dining hall!)

Why Register With Your Youth Leaders?

Cost: We know that different churches have different budgets and how those are then used during the year, and that might impact how your ministry leaders navigate added costs like transportation or leader costs. Therefore, to reduce confusion, we leave it to the leaders to know the camp cost, and then determine how to budget the expense of the weekend.

Registration: Often church ministries will utilize a church vehicle for transportation for their group to camp for a retreat. Running registration through the church ministry leaders ensures they know who is coming, how many seats/vehicles they will need, and know how many students they will be supervising for the weekend.

Staffing/facilitating: While a few of our summer staff friends do come back to assist (always a highlight for summer campers and staff alike to see familiar faces), we do not have the full staff capabilities to facilitate camp without partnership from local church leaders to help walk your students through the weekend.
